The velvet handle feels substantial without being heavy, and the faux leather tails have just enough weight to land with a satisfying thud. I expected the hematite chains to be mostly decorative, but they add a cold little bite on the follow-through that I didn't know I wanted.
I was worried the hematite chains would feel too harsh, but they land with a surprisingly nice bite while the tails stay soft against skin. The contrast between the cool chains and the faux leather is exactly what I was hoping for.
The faux leather tails are silkier than I expected, and the chains add just enough weight to feel deliberate without being harsh. I've used it mostly for light sensation play and it transitions to a sharper snap easily.
