The faux leather straps feel surprisingly supple against my cheeks, and the buckle actually holds tight without digging in. Bit down for a solid half hour and the silicone never got uncomfortable.

The silicone has just enough give that it doesn't feel harsh on the teeth, but it's firm enough to actually hold. The buckle stays put once you get it adjusted, which I was worried about.
